Hello! I’m from southern Ohio, and I’m double-majoring in peace and conflict studies and environmental science. I’m passionate about agricultural policy and food justice, though I also have experience in biology, literature, and religion as interdisciplinary subjects. Aside from academics, I’m also involved in Democracy Matters, the Maroon-News, and sports performance. At WSC, I’m happy to meet you where you’re at with your writing. I’ll encourage you to keep pushing forward and not get stuck in your head. I’m excited to be working with you! 

Hello everyone! I'm a Spanish and ALST double major from Southern California! I enjoy reading Spanish literature and learning about Latin American history, especially as they relate to Catholicism. I love Spanish literature so much that I hope to spend the rest of my professional life talking about it as a Spanish professor! In my free time, I enjoy swimming, gardening, learning Italian, and taking my dog on walks. I'm excited to get to know you all and help you create some good work! Public speaking can be a tricky task, but I'm here to help make it easier. 

Hey everyone! I’m an Education and ALST double major from Falls Church, Virginia. I’m passionate about educational policies with a focus on immigration. Most of my writing experience lies in the social sciences and humanities, but I look forward to working with you no matter the discipline. On campus, you can find me in the Education Department lounge hanging out with friends. I am also the co-treasurer for the Latin American Student Organization (LASO) for this academic year. I am trying to get more into reading and I want to read more Spanish literature. I’m so excited to work with everyone at the Writing and Speaking Center. Hey everyone! I grew up in Marin County, California, and I now live in Reno, Nevada. I am an English major with a film and media studies minor, and I have always been super passionate about all kinds of writing, from the analytical to the creative. Outside of the writing center, I am a huge soccer fan, have done theater for most of my life, and anything in the narrative building process, such as creating characters and fictional worlds, is my jam. Whether you are just getting started with an assignment or looking for one final proofread, I’m happy to discuss your thoughts with you at any point of your process. Hi! I am a Neuroscience and French double major, and I live just a little bit north of Boston, MA near the beach! Aside from working at the Writing Center, I love to run, do art, read, cook, and spend time with my friends! Although I tend towards STEM in my academics, I love to remain engaged in broad disciplines and I have a passion for creative writing. I am looking forward to meeting you and working with you on any writing that you bring into the center!
 

Hi! I am from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and I’ll be majoring in political science with a minor in peace and conflict studies. I love reading and writing, especially about history or politics. On campus, I work on 13 Degrees and write for the Maroon News. I love any opportunity to be creative or try something new!
 

Hello! I am a peace and conflict studies major and philosophy minor. I live in the lovely Seattle, WA, but I grew up in the Netherlands. I am hoping to pursue a career in policy research or international law. In my free time you can usually find me reading Joan Didion, thrifting (despite the terrifying state of my closet), bouldering, or watching The White Lotus for the fifth time. At ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½, I am involved with the Benton and Lampert scholars programs as well as the literary magazine, Portfolio, where I work as a prose editor. Hi!!! I am majoring in political science with a definite minor in writing and rhetoric and a possible one in Middle Eastern and Islamic studies. I’m pursuing a pre-law track with a focus on social justice and disability advocacy. I grew up right outside of Philadelphia, PA, but I travel as often as I can. I’m involved in the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Innocence Club and the pre-law society and I love to read and go for runs. I really enjoy analytical and creative writing, but overall just love to read papers and am excited to learn new things. 

Hello! Hola! I’m a history and political science double major on a pre-law track from Long Island, NY. I have extensive experience with most writing in the humanities & social science fields, whether that's literature analysis, editorials, personal reflections, compare & contrast essays, book reviews, source analyses etc. In particular I love writing that makes big picture arguments from evidence and analysis, so research papers and theses are a personal favorite! I am a native/fluent Spanish speaker so I’m happy to consult in whichever language you are most comfortable in! Outside of the writing center I am co-President of ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s Debate Society and have been a Manzi Fellow for the last two summers, interning at a women’s shelter in Boston! I’m passionate about politics, public policy, law, and activism! In my free time I love to read, play the sims, listen to music, and experiment with fashion. Hi everyone! I'm an Educational studies major from Brooklyn, NY, and I'm passionate about Educational reform. As of right now, I am considering Biology or Psychology as a second major but I'm not certain as of yet! Regardless of my area of study, I enjoy reading work from all disciplines. On campus, I am the Minister of Community development for the Caribbean Students Association (CSA) and an active participant in the ALANA Fashion shows. Additionally, I'm hoping to be an active member of the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Christian Fellowship, and the Hamilton Elementary tutoring club. In my downtime, I love to read, cook, take pictures, bake, and go on walks. I am originally from sunny Los Angeles, California, but I have loved having the opportunity to experience real autumns and winters at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½. Outside of classes, I’m passionate about finding effective and authentic ways to convey ideas. Howdy everyone! I am a double major in Neuroscience and Philosophy hauling in from Amarillo, TX! I am very eager to contribute to expert medicine through the biotechnology industry by becoming a Medical Science Liaison (MSL). I have extensive training in scientific research papers, from always being in ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s Developmental Neurobiology lab, & a viable lens on philosophical writing with a hint of rhetoric. Hi there~ I am from Hanoi, Vietnam, and I intend to double-major in Mathematical Economics and Psychology. I love studying languages and exploring different culinary cultures (come by and I will let you try some delicious Vietnamese snacks!). Hi everyone! I am a Biochemistry major and a Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies minor. I am an international student from Chattogram, Bangladesh. At ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½, I work as a research assistant, as well as a lab assistant for General Chemistry. Aside from my academic involvements, I am also the treasurer of Sisters of the Round table. The Writing and Speaking Center has always been my favourite resource on campus ever since freshman year, particularly because coming into college as an international student, navigating English as a second language was challenging for me. I particularly like working with STEM papers and lab reports because I have a lot of experience with them. However, I love working with humanities papers as well because reading them is always so interesting to me. I am so excited to work with you all and help you with your writing journeys to the best of my abilities!

Hi everyone! I am an  international relations major and an arts and humanities topical major (my specific major  focuses on comparative literature and culture studies between Italy and Spain). I am from Augusta, Kansas and grew up with a love for horses and travel. ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ has given me the opportunity to pursue both those passions as a member of the equestrian team and through programs such as the Benton Scholars or study groups. I am also a member of the COVE group, Sidekicks, and am the social media coordinator for the Spanish Honor Society. In my free time, I enjoy reading travel memoirs or fantasy novels, spending time outside or in the gym, and baking. I cannot wait to help you all along your writing journeys! 

Hi! I’m a political science major and French minor. I currently live in Houston, TX, but I grew up in London where I found a passion for soccer and traveling as well as a love for the rain. Outside of the WSC, you might find me peacefully writing poetry in the Case-Geyer Reading Room or playing a variety of sports on ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s plentiful green spaces. Hi everyone! I am from Short Hills, NJ. I’m majoring in English, with an emphasis in creative writing, and minoring in political science and French. I particularly enjoy reading papers that emphasize close reading and papers that discuss bioethical dilemmas. I am experienced with reading and writing many different types of papers, and am always eager to learn about a new subject. I adore learning languages and exercising those I already know: writing has always been my favorite way to express myself in any setting, whether creative or academic. I spend most of my time staring up at the stars, down at a book, watching movies, or listening to music. I love playing card games, buying room decor I don’t need, and taking pictures with a somewhat dysfunctional camera. Hello! I am a physics and English double-major from Chester, New York. I’ve written plenty of lab reports and literature analyses in turn, and I love them both so much that I just couldn’t choose! I’m also an assistant editor and writer for the Maroon-News, where I have so much fun writing music and concert reviews for Arts & Features. I love to dance, and you’ve probably seen me on stage at DanceFest or on the field at football games with ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s Dance Team. I grew up in Texas but now live in Germany with my family. I’m always interested in working with students who have linguistic and cultural differences/backgrounds from my own! 

Hi!! I am currently considering a double major in Sociology and Peace & Conflict Studies, but I also love the Africana and Latin American Studies and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies departments. I have experience writing and editing journalistically, but have loved being able to explore different kinds of writing since my time at ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½. I also co-hosted two radio shows through WRCU and participated in singing groups on campus! I’m from Phoenix, Arizona, so I love exploring Hamilton in all its different seasons and spending time outside. I am so excited to work with and meet everyone!

Hello! I am a Psychological science and Peace and Conflict studies double major from Texas. When not working at the center or studying, I greatly enjoy making music and you might find me playing the violin in ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½â€™s orchestra. I also like to write, spend time outdoors, and get wrapped up in a good novel. Although I have many interests, threaded through them all is my enjoyment of getting to understand different kinds of people. One of these ways is through writing; it is a process that is not simple but can be very worthwhile, and it has always been a rewarding experience for me to walk through it with others. I am always happy to work with a variety of writing subjects and styles and in any stage of the writing process. I look forward to meeting and working with you at the center!

I am interested in a career in international human rights law, but am also passionate about political journalism! I am from a bit of everywhere, but went to highschool in Lincoln, Nebraska and moved to Pennsylvania over the summer. On campus I am also involved in ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Debate Society, Maroon-News, Model UN, Pre-Law Society, and the ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Vote Project. Hello! I am a political science major also working on writing & rhetoric and economics minors. I’m from right closeby in Syracuse, NY. The last book I read was East of Eden, by John Steinbeck, and a book I’m currently reading is On Writing, by Steven King. A fun fact about me is that I love performing onstage and going to the theater; I have seen a total of 70 Broadway shows!
